WIG20 Index
WIG20 is the main equity index of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), tracking the performance of the 20 largest and most liquid Polish companies and providing broad exposure to Poland’s key economic sectors.
It is weighted by free-float market capitalization, and to maintain diversification and limit concentration risk, the methodology restricts the index to no more than 5 constituents from a single exchange sector. The index comprises leading companies across 8 sectors, with financials and energy representing the largest allocations, followed by consumer discretionary, materials, consumer staples, and communication services.
With market capitalization of approximately €185 billion and an average daily trading volume of around €385 million, WIG20 offers sufficient liquidity for both institutional and retail investors.

Poland Economic Outlook
Poland remains the largest economy in the CEE region, combining EU integration with monetary flexibility outside the euro. Since joining the EU, it has benefited from structural funds, strong FDI inflows, and export-led industrial expansion, strengthening institutional quality and investor protections.
Growth prospects remain solid, with GDP forecast at 3.4% for 2025 and a similar expected pace through 2027, supported by resilient household consumption and EU-financed investment. Inflation is easing toward the mid-2% range, improving real incomes and financing conditions, while unemployment remains low at around 5-6%, sustaining domestic demand
Combined with an investment-grade credit rating (A-), Poland offers a compelling risk-reward profile: higher growth than most of Europe, diversified industry, and continued convergence potential – attractive for investors seeking scalable, long-term exposure within the EU single market.
